John Hughes Golf is currently seeking an Independent Contract Instructor to fill the role of Player Development Specialist. The realistic expectation of the individual who fills this role is to grow the reach of the John Hughes Golf brand, while gaining enough knowledge and experience to one day own and operate your own golf instruction brand.
The ideal candidate for this position is a PGA of America Associate or Class “A” Member with proven experience as an instructor or coach for 2-5 years. You’ll possess creativity both on and off the practice facility, having coached multiple skill level of golfers. You’re openminded and fearless when it comes to learning. And you own the ability to create an exceptional skill building experience for your clientele.
Experience using FlightScope, V1 Pro, BodiTrak, HackMotion, and other technologies is a plus. Experience with marketing and managing player development programs is preferred.
This is an independent contract instructor opportunity. Income sources will come from many sources including conducting programs at Falcon’s Fire Golf Club and possibly a second facility. These sources include but are not limited to:
The candidate who fills the role will receive a yearly 1099 form. A negotiated percentage of gross coaching revenue must be paid to the facility and the company. Contract incentives can include but are not limited to PGA Dues, reimbursement of educational expenses, uniforms, equipment agreements when available, and other items as negotiated.
