We are happy to announce this week's #1inaMillion Golfer as Ainsley Hargens from Mulligan’s Golf Center in Harrisburg, Virginia.
Ainsley was nominated by her golf coach Wendy Kern. She had this to say about Ainsley, “Ainsley is an incredibly hard worker who always goes above and beyond far past the limits of golf. Not only is she an avid participant in all of our programs, but she also practices at home over the winter and whenever she can away from class. She also is an E-Leader in our Girls Golf program and is always at all of our events ready to help out and mentor our young girls. She is kind, and definitely epitomizes the character that we all want to emulate as golfers..”
She continued, “Ainsley quickly advanced to the 50 yard marker challenge but is working her way through the nervousness of being in ‘competition’ but she is determined and always faces the challenge with perseverance and a smile on her face! Ainsley’s path in her golf game is still an unknown, but one thing is for sure, that this young lady has perseverance, discipline, and a servant’s heart which will lead her anywhere that she wants in her future.”
We are impressed Ainsley! Congratulations and we are excited to see where golf takes you in the future. Keep being AMAZING!!
The Operation 36 mission is to create 1 million new golfers over the next five years, and they want to help coaches with introducing new golfers to the game and retaining them for the long term. Now, the company will be sharing the stories of these tremendous golfers and their coaches with our wider community, using the #1inaMillion.
