Most golf programs are incomplete — no long-term plan, no clear way to progress. The Operation 36 Model is a gamified, step-by-step framework that carries a golfer all the way from never playing to shooting par from the full tee-box.
The journey follows a simple path: six levels, each one longer than the last, until you're playing the full tee box.
Four simple steps — repeated at every level, from 25 yards to the full tee box.
You will start by playing nine holes from Level 1, where the course is 225 yards long, meaning 25 yards per hole. Every hole is a Par 4, which is your target amount of strokes to hole the ball. Do this for 9 holes to shoot 36!
Your goal is to shoot 36 or better for nine holes. When you achieve this, you level up and the course gets progressively longer. This helps you gradually develop your skills without feeling overwhelmed.
If you get stuck in a Level, that's okay! There are 12 standard video skills in each Level to guide you. Join a program at one of our 800 partner locations to learn from expert Op 36 Coaches. Your coach will teach each of these 12 skills live in your weekly group classes.

250,000+ golfers at 800+ facilities worldwide — all working the same model.
Built on 15 years of research and development, the Operation 36 Model is a scalable development system — fun and gamified on the surface, but designed underneath to instill every habit a player needs to become a skilled golfer.
Golf improves across three technical areas: putting, short game, and full swing. Op 36 breaks each one into simple skills so every golfer knows what to learn next.
Weekly classes teach one clear skill at a time — the what, the how, and the why.
Video lessons reinforce each skill so practice has a clear focus between classes.
Skills stick through purposeful reps. Op 36 turns practice into focused games and measurable activities that help golfers improve faster.
Practice games create useful reps in class without making training feel like a grind.
App activities guide what to practice, then track the reps that move progress forward.
Golfers need the course to grow. Op 36 makes playing part of the plan with scaled rounds that match each golfer's current level.
9-hole events give golfers supportive, structured rounds with others on the same journey.
Play GPS shows where to start, how to score, and how each round fits your progress.
Tracking and coaching are baked into the model — not bolted on. That's how we keep every golfer moving:
Currently the Op 36 Program and App is only available to golfers enrolled in a program at their local facility. However, we're excited to open the Op 36 Mobile App to everyone in early 2026! Click "Get Started" to join our list and stay informed. Meanwhile, you can request a nearby program, and we'll contact local golf facilities to see if they're interested in running an Operation 36 Program.
Operation 36 was designed to be used for Juniors (6 and up) and Adults. Each facility offers different programs for different ages throughout the year. Click "Get Started" to explore your local programs to see what's available in your area.
Absolutely! Wouldn't it be fun to see what Level you can shoot par (36) from? With Op 36 you will find the core areas you need to improve as you start in Level 1. Many experienced golfers find the program "eye-opening" as it exposes quickly where to improve and builds confidence in your game as you play the Full Tee-box.
We want you to fall in love with the sport before investing heavily in golf equipment. That's the beauty of starting at Level 1 — all you need is a Putter and a Wedge to begin. As your skills grow and you move back on the course, you can slowly build up your set.
To make that even easier, we now offer Operation 36 Beginner Clubs — custom-fit, one-at-a-time club options designed specifically for new golfers.
Still unsure? Your coach is a great resource. After registering, we recommend reaching out to them — they likely have clubs to lend or additional recommendations to get you started.
Everyone is ready to play "TODAY" with Operation 36! The events are educational and designed to be more of a learning environment than a competition. Every golfer playing are all working together to beat 36 on the course, or their personal record. So even though it is individual play, it is a fun and supportive environment where kids and adults can learn to play and become confident getting on a golf course.
