Ladies Programs
The fastest-growing part of Op 36. Learn with other women at your level — encouragement built in, intimidation engineered out.
Start 25 yards from the hole, learn with a community at your level, play real rounds from week one, and level up to the full tee box — at any age, from any starting point.
The model is simple: start close to the hole and earn your way back, one level at a time — with a coach and the Op 36 app guiding every step. Here's the rhythm:
No six months on the range first. Your coach teaches every stroke from week one — and you start scoring from 25 yards, where goals are achievable and small swings build into the full swing as you move back. Your first real 9-hole round comes within your first month: real course, real score, about 90 minutes.

One hour a week with the same coach and the same crew — all learning at the same level. Classes work through the same 12-skill curriculum, like subjects in school, with every class building on the last. It's social, it's structured, and you're never the only beginner on the tee.

Score 36 (par) or better for 9 holes and you advance — from 25 yards to 50, to 100, all the way to the full tee box. Your coach puts play days on the calendar and guides the whole climb, all managed through the app — scores, milestones, and the celebration when you level up.
Between classes, the Op 36 app keeps guiding you — learn every skill, train with purpose, and play real rounds, with your coach right there beside you.

Adults who join Op 36 don't just take lessons — they become golfers. The most-used word when members describe it: confidence.
From our 2026 survey of 419 adult members.
Nearly half of Op 36 enrollments are adults — and facilities run programs to match. Whoever you want to learn alongside, there's a class for it.

The stories behind the numbers — from members who started exactly where you are.
“My husband has been an avid golfer for decades. I was too intimidated and embarrassed to play with him. This program has changed my life and I play a couple times a week now!”
“Instead of thinking 'I can't do this' I now know I CAN do this.”
“We cheer each other on and no one is out there trying to beat me at the game. We celebrate each other's accomplishments no matter how small!”
“Without this class, I would not be playing golf. I had never set foot on a golf course before. I literally knew nothing. Today, I'm golfing with friends — maybe not SUPER well — but I'm getting better each time!”

Everyone starts the ladder at Level 1 — par for 9 holes from 25 yards. Sounds automatic? Most experienced golfers climb the first levels fast, then the ladder starts pushing back. Find the level where 36 stops being easy, and you've found exactly what to work on.
Track your first rounds and the app sets your starting point, then automatically maps your goals for each level ahead. No guessing where you stand.
Play with the on-course GPS and every round, milestone, and stroke of progress logs to your profile — and the Golf Journal keeps your notes on what's working.
Turn range time into scored drills for putting, chipping, and full swing — then bring it to weekly classes with a coach and a crew at your level.
Shoot 36 or better for 9 holes at your level to advance. It sounds easy. It isn't.
No — and you'd be in good company. The majority of the adults in our 2026 member survey are 60 or older, and many of them had never touched a club before joining. Starting 25 yards from the hole means you play real golf at any age and any fitness level.
A Level 1 round is 9 holes from 25 yards — about 90 minutes, not five hours. The weekly commitment is one group class plus optional play days. The rounds grow as you level up, but always at your pace.
Everyone starts the ladder at Level 1 — par for 9 holes from 25 yards — and experienced golfers climb the early levels quickly. The challenge is finding the level where you can no longer shoot 36. You also get the Training feature for measurable practice, the Golf Journal for round tracking, and a community that actually gets you playing more.
Never. Classes are grouped by level, so everyone around you is figuring it out too. In our survey, learning alongside people at the same level was one of the top reasons adults stayed.
Pricing is set by your local facility, but the national average works out to about $30 a class — less than a single private lesson — and that includes group coaching, the curriculum, the app, and play days.
At many facilities, yes. Ladies programs are the fastest-growing part of Op 36 — and plenty of locations also run coed and men's groups. Your local coach can tell you exactly what's on the calendar.
