This week we are excited to announce our #1inaMillion Golfer Bernadette Trinks from Keith Hills Golf Club in Lillington, NC.
Bernadette was nominated by her golf coach Sam Giallombardo. He had this to say about Bernadette, “Bernadette is a perfect example of the type of attitude it takes to play this extremely challenging and sometimes frustrating game. She has an indelible positivity & desires to improve just a little bit every time she plays or practices!”
He continued, “She is an inspiration to all of the Ladies in the academy to such a degree, that I have on numerous occasions heard them using her words about their own rounds! When Bernadette comes in from a round, good or bad, she is able to find something positive to walk away from the course with which are called >> Bernadette’s “Glimmers of Hope”. This is a term used frequently among the Saturday Ladies group, that when they find something has worked well that day, they find their own ”Glimmers of Hope”.”
We love that you are an inspiration to others Bernadette, and that your “Glimmers of Hope” resonate with other golfers. Congratulations on this well deserved award!
The Operation 36 mission is to create 1 million new golfers over the next five years, and they want to help coaches with introducing new golfers to the game and retaining them for the long term. Now, the company will be sharing the stories of these tremendous golfers and their coaches with our wider community, using the #1inaMillion.
