Liam’s Journey from 50 Yards to Level 9 – A True #1inAMillion Golfer!
We are proud to celebrate Liam, who was recently nominated for the Operation 36 #1inAMillion Golfer Award by his coach, Hunter Burnell. This recognition is a testament to Liam’s dedication—not just to his own improvement, but to growing the game for others as well.
From the very beginning, Liam showed an unwavering passion for golf. He started by barely breaking par from 50 yards, but through consistent effort, match play, and a true love for learning, he has now reached an incredible milestone: breaking par from Level 9.
But what makes Liam stand out isn’t just his personal progress. It’s his heart.
Liam regularly volunteers his time during beginner classes at his facility, mentoring younger and newer golfers. He’s always the first to arrive at matches and the last to leave, offering encouragement and setting a strong example for others.
“Liam has shown that he strongly desires improving in golf and helping others improve as well. He consistently volunteers during beginner classes and is always there to support and inspire younger players. His commitment is unmatched,” said Coach Burnell, “Watching him go from 50 yards to breaking par from Level 9 has been incredible.”
Liam represents the spirit of Operation 36: passion, perseverance, and paying it forward. Congratulations, Liam! You truly are #1inAMillion.
