Each month, we proudly recognize a coach who goes above and beyond to make a positive impact on their players, families, and community. This month, we are thrilled to celebrate Matthew Palmer, PGA Lead Teaching Professional at MacGregor Downs Country Club, in Cary, North Carolina, of Matthew Palmer Golf, our Coach Impact Award recipient for July!
Building a Thriving Junior Golf Community
Matthew has brought a renewed energy to MacGregor Downs Country Club. With unwavering commitment and a clear vision, he has worked to build a strong, competitive junior golf environment where children not only learn but truly thrive. In addition to his work with juniors, Matthew has also grown the women’s program to the largest it has ever been, creating opportunities for golfers of all ages to develop their skills and love for the game.

He blends his in-depth teaching knowledge with the Operation 36 model to create an atmosphere where kids can learn to love the game and thrive as golfers.
