The Operation 36 Coach Impact Award recognizes coaches who go above and beyond to positively impact their golfers, families, and community through Operation 36. For January, we are proud to recognize Craig Black, PGA Associate, for his outstanding commitment to helping golfers learn, improve, and enjoy the game.
Coach Craig takes his Operation 36 role seriously, and it shows in every session he leads. He is intentional about giving each golfer dedicated one-on-one attention, ensuring that every player not only hears the instruction, but truly understands it. His ability to tailor communication to meet each golfer where they are in their journey is a defining part of his coaching style.
Just as important, Coach Craig creates an environment where learning golf is fun. Laughter is a constant when his classes are in session, helping golfers feel comfortable, confident, and excited to keep coming back. This balance of structure, clarity, and enjoyment is exactly what the Operation 36 program is designed to deliver.

Craig’s impact extends beyond January. He was also recognized as a 2025 Operation 36 Top 50 Coach, reflecting his ongoing dedication to developing golfers the right way.

He makes sure every student is getting dedicated 1v1 attention and is able to tailor his communication for each player to make sure they understand what he’s teaching.
