We are EXCITED to announce this week's #1inaMillion Golfer >>> Meet 10-year-old Oliva 'Livy' Erazmus!
️
Livy plays golf at The Country Club at Wakefield in Raleigh, NC. She was nominated by Operation 36 coach, Erica Britt. When asked why she chose to nominate Livy, Britt said:
“Livy is one of the hardest working juniors I’ve ever had the pleasure of teaching. Her attitude on and off the course is one I hope all my golfers can achieve. She has improved tremendously and continues to grow!"
Britt continued, “She is known at the course as the ‘chipping queen’ because she is known for chipping in at least once per match! She really is an incredible young girl. She is so thoughtful, kind and hard working. She is a perfect candidate for this award and I know she would be honored. Her younger brother has a severe health condition and golf right now is the only safe place she can be without putting her brother at risk. Golf is more than just a sport to her!”
Congratulations Livy on your #1inamillion nomination! Operation 36 is proud to have caring and kind golfers who not only play golf well but who put others before themselves.
The Operation 36 mission is to create 1 million new golfers over the next five years, and they want to help coaches with introducing new golfers to the game and retaining them for the long term. Now, the company will be sharing the stories of these tremendous golfers and their coaches with our wider community, using the #1inaMillion.
