Congratulations to this week's #1inaMillion Golfer - 9 year old Rozlyn Elliott from The Dalles Country Club in The Dalles, Oregon!
Rozlyn was nominated by her coach Travis Kane. He had this to say, "Rozlyn is a "grinder" that always has a smile on her face. She loves to practice and play with her father any time they can."
He continued, "Rozlyn battled hard during her last skills event round. She knew she was behind her goal of 36 after 5 holes, but she kept grinding. On the last hole she needed a birdie to score a 36. A 6 foot putt with left to right break. Her determination came up short with a heart wrenching lip out and a final score of 37."
Rozlyn has the energy and desire to become a great golfer. Her parents are excited to see the enjoyment she has in the great game of golf!

The Operation 36 mission is to create 1 million new golfers over the next five years, and they want to help coaches with introducing new golfers to the game and retaining them for the long term.
