We are thrilled to announce our next #1inamillion golfer Jackson Miller from Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Jackson was nominate by his golf coach Grace Olmstead. She said, “Jackson has worked very hard to improve his skills. He works hard during class and outside of class practicing to get better at the game of golf.”
She continued, “He has been in my program from the start. He found out that 25 yards and 50 yards were a breeze but struggled a bit when he got to 100 yards. He has had a few chances so far to pass 100 yards and has had many scores around 37-39, but is working very hard to get to 36.”
Jackson, your commitment to improvement has not gone unnoticed, and we are confident that you will soon surpass Operation 36 Level 3 - 100 yards! Your journey in golf has just begun and we are genuinely excite to see what lie ahead for you. Here’s to a future filled with continued success on the golf course!
Please join us in congratulating Jackson on this award!
Congratulations to our first #1inamillion Golfer in 2023 - Tanya Ferrera from Keith Hills Golf Academy in Lillington, North Carolina.
Tanya was nominated by her golf coach Jackie Schmidt. She said, "Tanya has been a huge supporter of OP 36, and makes sure none of her classmates get discouraged. She has the energy to make everyone smile and is a huge addition to our program. Not only is she a great supporter, but her passion for golf is unlike anyone else. She practices everyday, and always asks for drills to help improve what she is working on that day. She is inspiring, and has given so much spirit to Keith Hills!."
Jackie continued, "Tanya helped one of her fellow classmates give the 9 hole events a second chance, as the first event was not the best experience. Not only did their group have a great time, but the student she encouraged to try again, passed her division!! She was so excited for her, she cheered and clapped on their last hole."
We love the support that Tanya is showing out on the golf course! She is an inspiration to other women to give golf a try. Way to go - this award is well deserved.
