At Operation 36, the 9-Hole Event is the heartbeat of the program. It’s where students put their skills to the test, build confidence, and experience the excitement of real on-course play. It’s also one of the most important touchpoints for families, making organization, communication, and presentation critical for a successful program.
That’s why we’ve introduced a series of new updates designed to help coaches and facilities run smoother, more professional 9-Hole Events with less manual work.
These enhancements focus on efficiency, flexibility, and clarity, so you can spend less time managing logistics and more time coaching and connecting with your golfers.
Custom Starting Holes: You can now assign starting holes for groups. This supports split tee times and automatically carries through to tee sheets, cart signs, and scorecards.
Scoreboard Report (Auto-Filled): We’ve added a new Scoreboard report that automatically fills in student names and personal best scores for each level. No more manually writing names or scores before your events.
Web-Based RSVPs: Students and families can now RSVP directly from the web, not just the mobile app. This makes it easier for everyone to respond.
Improved Pairings Editing: You can now adjust tee times and starting holes without resetting your pairings, giving you more flexibility when last-minute changes come up.
Enhanced Printing: All printable reports now include color. You can download scorecards with both front and back layouts for seamless double-sided printing
Clearer Event Messaging: Event Descriptions and Event Messages are now separate. This lets you use the description for pre-event info and the message for post-event updates to the activity feed.
Event Waitlists: This upcoming feature will let golfers join a waitlist when 9-Hole Events reach capacity, making it easier to fill open spots and manage demand.
These new features were built directly from coach feedback and real-world program needs. Designed to save time, reduce friction, and elevate the on-course experience for everyone involved. We’re continually listening, improving, and building tools that help coaches run thriving programs.
Golf professionals and facility leaders interested in the Operation 36 program or these new event features are encouraged to reach out to the Operation 36 team today to learn more.
