At Operation 36, we love celebrating coaches who go above and beyond to create meaningful golf experiences for their players. Each month, we highlight one coach who exemplifies what it means to positively impact beginner golfers and develop confident, lifelong players.
For December, we are thrilled to recognize Megin O’Donnell-Kelly, LPGA, of Brooklawn Country Club in Fairfield, Connecticut, as our Coach Impact Award recipient!
One of the most powerful indicators of a coach’s impact is the way players respond to them—and Megin’s golfers make their appreciation known. Whether it’s a high-five, a hug, or a beaming smile as they run up to say hello, juniors at Brooklawn consistently show just how much she means to them.

The best junior coaches know how to blend learning with play, effort with enjoyment, and structure with silliness. Megin models this beautifully.
