Arthur Proves Passion and Character Matter Most in Golf
Arthur may be relatively new to the game, with less than two years of golf experience, but his dedication and enthusiasm have already made a lasting impression at his academy. From the moment he arrives at the course, Arthur brings a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to learn.
Coach Ebonie says Arthur consistently sets a great example for the other golfers in the program. He approaches every practice with curiosity, respect, and a willingness to improve — qualities that truly reflect the spirit of the Operation 36 community.
“Arthur embodies what it means to be a student of the game — respectful, hardworking, and always eager to improve,” Coach Ebonie shares.
Arthur is also known around the academy for his resourcefulness. With golf balls becoming more expensive, he has earned the nickname of the program’s unofficial golf ball and tee collector, often spotting lost balls or unclaimed tees on the course and adding them to his growing collection for practice.
During a recent camp, Arthur found an impressive 50–60 golf balls over several days, making sure he had plenty to continue practicing and improving his game.
More than anything, Arthur’s passion for golf and positive attitude inspire everyone around him. His love for the game, respect for others, and commitment to getting better are exactly what the Operation 36 #1inAMillion Award is all about.
