We are happy to announce this week's #1inamillion Golfer Amy Brown from Keith Hills Golf Course in Lillington, NC.
Amy was nominated by her Coach Sam Giallombardo. He has this to say about Amy, "Amy is an extremely hard working student who not only works to attend 12 min lessons to get frequent regular feedback but utilizes the Op 36 mobile app to its fullest capacity learning and testing out of the Operation 36 curriculum. She is currently in Rank 3 and only has 4 more skills remaining. She is further along in the curriculum than any other Op 36 Adult student."
He continued, "Her mom who is also a part of the Women's Op 36 program always caddies for her and they have such a positive attitude. After she scored 37 on the 5th try she was pretty discouraged and her Mom went out later that week in her first attempt and also scored 37! They came together and practiced together the next few weeks and both passed 25 yards on their next attempts!."
We are super proud of you Amy and so happy to have you as part of the Operation 36 program. You set a great example of perseverance for all women who are learning to play golf. Congratulations!
The Operation 36 mission is to create 1 million new golfers over the next five years, and they want to help coaches with introducing new golfers to the game and retaining them for the long term. Now, the company will be sharing the stories of these tremendous golfers and their coaches with our wider community, using the #1inaMillion.
