Congratulations to this week’s #1inaMillion Golfer - Joshua Beck from Esh’s Golf Academy in Missoula, Montana.
Josh was nominated by his golf coach and mentor Joey Esh. He had this to say about Josh, “Josh was my first student to sign up for my academy. He is now a high school senior and a mentor to many of the younger students. He uses his free time to volunteer to help with the junior golfers. Five years ago I was contacted by the state of Montana. They mentioned having a kid who had gotten into trouble and wanted a program for him. Growing up in a single family household myself, I was all over the ability to create an opportunity for Josh.”
He continued, “Josh currently works at the golf shop and is moving to Hawaii. He is pursuing a career in golf. What a blessing to be able to help him reach his goals. He will be missed!”

The Operation 36 mission is to create 1 million new golfers over the next five years, and they want to help coaches with introducing new golfers to the game and retaining them for the long term. Now, the company will be sharing the stories of these tremendous golfers and their coaches with our wider community, using the #1inaMillion.
