Oliver - A True Example of Sportsmanship
This month, we are proud to recognize Oliver from Oak Knoll Country Club in Louisiana, nominated by his coach, Barrett Carter, PGA.
What truly makes Oliver a #1inAMillion golfer is the way he carries himself on and off the course. He respects the rules of the game, understands the work required to improve, and handles both successes and setbacks with humility. Coach Carter shared that Oliver makes everyone around him better and described him as a kind soul who has fallen in love with the game—someone the game of golf is lucky to have.
He said, “Oliver shows not only a passion for learning the game, but is ALWAYS extremely courteous to others. He makes everyone around him better, including me, his Coach.”
Oliver’s journey is a great reminder that golf is about more than just scores—it’s about character, growth, and the example we set for others. Congratulations to Oliver on being nominated for the Operation 36
