Raleigh, NC—Golf player development program, Operation 36, announces that they are hosting a Coach Chat  for Active Op 36 Coaches  on Friday, March 24, 2023.

“Coach Chat: Motivating your Golfers with Leaderboard Points” will feature special guest, Ty Medling of Spring Creek Ranch in Collierville, TN.

Medling, PGA, has many tools to motivate and engage with his golfers both on and off the golf course.  Specifically, Ty has implemented some great strategies for motivating golfers to play and train outside of class using the points and leaderboard features within Operation 36 Mobile App. His techniques have been great for increasing engagement through the app, as well as creating more awareness throughout the community.

Operation 36 has invited Medling to a Coach Chat to share these ideas with the community. This is a short training where the best practices used by Operation 36 coaches are shared.  The Coach Chat will be hosted by Michael Brooks, PGA, a Player Development Consultant at Operation 36.

The training will be exclusively for Operation 36 Golf Professionals and will be hosted online, on Friday March 24th at 1:00 p.m. ET.  Space is limited, and Op 36 Coaches  who are  interested may grab their seat to this free training through this free registration here.

About Operation 36

Operation 36 is a Division of Golf Genius and is the most effective developmental program to teach beginners how to play golf. All new players begin on the course, and instead of starting at the tee box, they play from 25 yards away from the hole. Once the player shoots par (36) from 25 yards, they back up to 50 yards, and so on, until they are shooting even par (36) from the full tee box.  Participants engage in weekly classes taught by golf professionals and all progress of the golfers is tracked in the Operation 36 Platform. The Operation 36 mission is to create 1 million new golfers over the next five years, and they want to help coaches with introducing new golfers and retaining them for the long term.
