If you can run a league or a clinic, you can run Op 36.

A standard Op 36 program is one 8-week season — a weekly one-hour class plus twice-monthly 9-hole play days, at about $360 per golfer. You bring the coaching; Op 36 brings the curriculum, schedule, and software — and you can shape it to fit your calendar.

Weekly Classes

One hour a week, fully planned: play a game, teach a skill, finish with a game. If you can run that, you can run this — high-energy for players at every level.

9-Hole Play Days

Twice a month, players take it to the real course from their level tee. Shoot 36 or better and they level up — celebrated automatically.

Every personal best and level-up is tracked and celebrated automatically — so players keep re-enrolling to climb the next level.

Why Fall?

The easiest season to get started.

Op 36 golfers are already searching for a program near you — school's back and families are rebuilding their routine (and it works just as well for adults). Starting now lets you pilot with real demand, and a single class more than covers the year — so you head into spring with revenue and a roster already in place.

How many 1-hour classes will you run each week?

That's 2 hours a week this fall.

This fall $4,320 one 8-week season
Run every season $12,960 3 seasons a year, on average

FAQ

Common Questions

Does a fall program really pay for itself?

Typically, yes. A class of six at about $360 each is roughly $2,160 in program revenue — more than your entire first year ($2,200 all-in) — and running two classes puts you well ahead. Your first two months are free and the rest is paid monthly, so tuition revenue usually lands before your first installment is even due. You set your own tuition; that's just a common example.

Is this a cancel-anytime subscription?

No — it's a 12-month program license paid in monthly installments: $200 to start, your next two months free, then $200/month for the remaining ten. That commitment is also why your rate is locked: you keep $2,400/year ($500 off retail) for as long as you run the program.

Do you set my prices?

No — you set your own tuition at whatever you want. The figures here are just the averages we see across our 800+ locations on what's working. Some programs charge well more than $30 a class; others charge a bit less.

Our tee sheet is packed. How do play days work?

Play days run from level tees, so rounds are fast — a Level 1 nine takes about 90 minutes. Pace of play is the biggest reason this works: beginners get around in the same time as everyone else, so they never back up your tee sheet. A 6-golfer class needs about 2 tee times per play day, and you can scale all the way back to one play day a month and grow from there.

We can only run programming part of the year. Is it worth it?

Yes — the program runs in 8-week blocks, so you stack as many as your season allows. Fall is the ideal on-ramp: pilot now, prove it out, and walk into spring with a roster already in place. When winter comes, keep it going indoors and unlock all of our coach training.

Can I shorten the program or run fewer play days?

Yes — your Program Advisor can help you customize the length and cadence. But for players to see real improvement (and for the business to run well), aim for 4- to 8-week blocks; some locations simply run all season long as a monthly recurring program. Your PGA Program Advisor can share the tips and tricks we've learned from other facilities.

Is this just for juniors?

No — 48% of Op 36 enrollments are adults, and 74% of adult enrollments are women, the fastest-growing segment in golf. Fall works just as well with adult groups. Parents enroll alongside their kids; couples join together.

I have my own teaching philosophy — will this box me in?

Op 36 isn't a swing system or a teaching philosophy — it's a program built on the first real development model in golf. Think of it like a school system: a framework of levels and milestones, while every teacher still teaches their own way. You're still the coach; Op 36 provides the structure that turns your lessons into a program.

Do I get help getting set up?

Yes. Your onboarding includes three private training calls with your PGA Program Advisor — they'll walk you through setup, building your first class, and running your play days. And they don't disappear after launch: your Advisor stays with you for the life of your program.

What kind of support and training can I expect?

Op 36 was built by Golf Pros, for Golf Pros — the team at HQ are passionate golf professionals and enthusiasts. Beyond your PGA Program Advisor, you get monthly webinars, network meetups, and live chat support in your portal (M–F, EST business hours). We hold a 90+ NPS and take real pride in the level of support and training we provide.

What happens right after I check out?

Our team is notified the moment you're in. We build your facility portal behind the scenes, and your PGA Program Advisor reaches out to schedule the first of your three private training calls — then you open registration and start creating golfers. No manual paperwork, no lag.
