Raleigh, NC—North Carolina-based golf player development program, Operation 36, announces their next workshop for Golf Professionals who are interested in growing their golf coaching business in 2023.

This workshop “How to Start an Operation 36 Golf Program this Fall” will feature Operation 36 coach Travis Howser, PGA, at Rancho Carlsbad Golf Club in Carlsbad, California and the host of the podcast, Raising Golfers.

The workshop training will share Travis Howser’s story of moving back to the United States after teaching golf in Shanghai, China for five years. When he returned to the US, he decided to become an Operation 36 coach and to start a beginner program from scratch. He has created an incredible program, and is now sharing his best tips with the Operation 36 community.

Golf professionals are invited to join us as we hear about his story of starting a new academy after golf coaching abroad for several years. We will learn how he grew his program, as well as his successful podcast that focuses on helping Junior Golfers.

The workshop will be hosted online, on Monday, August 21st at 11:00 am ET.  Space is limited, and those who are interested may grab their seat through this free registration here.

About Operation 36

Operation 36 is a Division of Golf Genius and is the most effective developmental program to teach beginners how to play golf. All new players begin on the course, and instead of starting at the tee box, they play from 25 yards away from the hole. Once the player shoots par (36) from 25 yards, they back up to 50 yards, and so on, until they are shooting even par (36) from the full tee box.  Participants engage in weekly classes taught by golf professionals and all progress of the golfers is tracked in the Operation 36 Platform. The Operation 36 mission is to create 1 million new golfers over the next five years, and they want to help coaches with introducing new golfers and retaining them for the long term.
